CVE-2024-13768

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions CITS Support svg, webp Media and TTF,OTF File Upload, Use Custom Fonts plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 4.2
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the cits assign fonts tab() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to delete font assignments via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing a specific action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.2, update to a version that includes proper nonce validation for the cits assign fonts tab() function to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the cits assign fonts tab() function until a patch is available.
