CVE-2025-2477

CVSS v3.1

4.7

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions CryoKey plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.4
Description The issue is related to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the ckemail parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.4, consider disabling the ckemail parameter until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the CryoKey plugin to minimize the risk of Reflected Cross-Site Scripting attacks. Avoid using the ckemail parameter in affected pages until the issue is resolved.
