Description
The issue exists due to insufficient data validation in the Extensions component of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, allowing a remote attacker to escalate privileges using a specially crafted HTML page. This can be achieved by convincing a user to perform specific UI gestures. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not specified.
