CVE-2024-13702

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions CRM and Lead Management by vcita plugin for WordPress versions up to 2.7.4
Description The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the vCitaMeetingScheduler and vCitaSchedulingCalendar shortcodes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to 2.7.4, update to a version higher than 2.7.4 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vCitaMeetingScheduler and vCitaSchedulingCalendar shortcodes until a patch is available.
