Description A memory leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the imx-sdma component of the dmaengine. The problem occurs when the sdma load context() function fails, causing the sdma desc to be freed but not the allocated desc->bd. This can lead to a memory leak. The issue has been observed in cases where a timeout waiting for CH0 ready occurs, as indicated by a log message.
