Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A crash can occur in the Linux kernel during cgroup migration due to linked list corruption in the mm struct->lru gen.list. This happens when lru gen migrate mm() is called before lru gen add mm(), which is not the expected order. The issue arises from a specific scenario involving clone(), cgroup can fork(), cgroup procs write(), cgroup post fork(), task lock(), and lru gen migrate mm() calls across multiple CPUs.
