Description A potential NULL dereference issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the efi mem reserve persistent function. The issue occurs when iterating on a linked list and a result of memremap is dereferenced without checking it for NULL. This could potentially lead to a crash or other unexpected behavior. The problem was discovered by the Linux Verification Center using SVACE.
