VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the ovs flow cmd new function. This issue arises when an allocation of a key fails, and the new flow object is not freed, resulting in a memory leak. The leak was reported by Syzkaller, and the patch resolves this issue by rearranging the goto labels to reflect the order of object allocations and adding appropriate goto statements on the error paths.
Recommendations To resolve this issue, apply the patch that rearranges the goto labels and adds goto statements on the error paths. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
