CVE-2023-53001

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue concerns the Linux kernel, specifically the drm/drm vma manager component. It has been resolved by adding a function called drm vma node allow once(), which allows drm drivers to safely check and allow drm vma offset node for a drm file just once. This change prevents memory leaks by enabling drivers to call a non-refcounted version of drm vma node allow(), eliminating the need for subsequent drm vma node revoke() calls.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
