Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Countdown Timer Widget ekit countdown timer title parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 3.4.7, update to a version that includes the necessary input sanitization and output escaping fixes to prevent Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Countdown Timer Widget or disabling the ekit countdown timer title parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
