VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the wifi component, specifically the iwlwifi driver. The issue occurs when the firmware fails to start session protection, leading to a situation where the ROC ( Remain On Channel ) is not properly cleaned up. This can cause a WARN ON() later on when attempting to activate a fresh remain-on-channel, as the link is already active due to never being deactivated.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
