Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A memory mapping leak occurs in the Linux kernel when a Hyper-V DRM device is removed. The driver allocates MMIO space for the vram and maps it cacheable when the device is probed. However, if the device is removed or an error occurs during device probing, the MMIO space is released but not unmapped, resulting in a kernel address space leak. The issue is resolved by adding iounmap() calls in the device removal path and the error path during device probing.
