Description The issue is related to incorrect restriction of a directory path name with limited access. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to disclose protected information. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to view arbitrary files on the system.

Recommendations For IBM Cloud Pak System versions 2.3.3.6 through 2.3.4.0, consider restricting access to the system until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using URL requests containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
