Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the
am65-cpsw driver. The issue occurs when registering interrupts for TX or RX DMA channels before registering their respective NAPI callbacks, which can result in a NULL pointer dereference. This is seen as a random occurrence due to the randomness associated with Linux traffic generation and reception from the wire.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
