CVE-2025-28409

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions RUoYi version 4.8.0
Description The issue allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the add method of the "/add/{parentId}" endpoint, which does not properly validate whether the requesting user has permission to add a menu item under the specified parentId.
Recommendations For RUoYi version 4.8.0, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/add/{parentId}" endpoint until a patch is available. Avoid using the add method in this endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
