Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
3DPrint Lite plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.1.3.6
Description:
The issue arises from insufficient escaping on the user-supplied
printer text parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries. This can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.Recommendations:
For versions up to, and including, 2.1.3.6, consider disabling the
printer text parameter until a patch is available to prevent SQL injection attacks.
Avoid using the printer text parameter in affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.Fix
SQL injection
