CVE-2025-3432

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: AAWP Obfuscator plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.0
Description: The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, specifically via the data-aawp-web parameter. This allows authenticated attackers with Author-level access or above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 1.0, consider disabling the data-aawp-web parameter to prevent exploitation until a patch is available. Restrict access to pages that may have been injected with malicious scripts to minimize the risk of execution. Avoid using the data-aawp-web parameter in affected pages until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
