Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Dell Common Event Enabler version 9.0.0.0
Description:
The issue is related to an Improper Restriction of Communication Channel to Intended Endpoints vulnerability in the Common Anti-Virus Agent (CAVA) of the Dell Common Event Enabler. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker with remote access to potentially exploit the vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access.
Recommendations:
For version 9.0.0.0, apply the recommended patch to fix the vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting remote access to the Common Anti-Virus Agent (CAVA) until a patch is available.
