Description:
The issue is a Stack-based Buffer Overflow that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. To exploit this problem, the victim must open a malicious file, which requires user interaction.
Recommendations:
For Adobe Framemaker version 2020.8, update to a version later than 2020.8 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Framemaker version 2022.6, update to a version later than 2022.6 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of untrusted files until a patch is available.
