Description
The issue may allow an adversary to gain a weak form of control over the victim's branch history. This is related to a problem in certain Arm Cortex-A72, Cortex-A73, and Cortex-A75 processors. The issue is similar to Spectre-BSE (Branch Status Eviction) and may allow an adversary to bypass existing protections.
Recommendations
For Arm Cortex-A72 versions prior to r1p0, consider applying patches or updates that address the issue, as soon as they become available.
For Arm Cortex-A73 and Cortex-A75, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
