Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
CrushFTP versions 9.x through 11.3.1
Description
The issue allows for Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the
host and port parameters in a command=telnetSocket request to the "/WebInterface/function/" URI. This vulnerability can be exploited to potentially access internal resources.Recommendations
For CrushFTP versions 9.x through 11.3.1, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
command=telnetSocket function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /WebInterface/function/ URI to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the host and port parameters in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
