CVE-2025-30701
CVSS v2.0
8.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle Database Server versions 19.3 through 19.26
Oracle Database Server versions 21.3 through 21.17
Oracle Database Server versions 23.4 through 23.7
Description
The issue is related to the RAS Security component of Oracle Database Server. It allows a low-privileged attacker with network access via Oracle Net to compromise RAS Security, given they have User Account privilege. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification access to critical data or all RAS Security accessible data, as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all RAS Security accessible data.
Recommendations
For versions 19.3 through 19.26, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk.
For versions 21.3 through 21.17, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk.
For versions 23.4 through 23.7, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the RAS Security component until a patch is available.
