Description The issue allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Configurator. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. Attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Configurator's accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Configurator's accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.14, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent unauthorized access and modifications to Oracle Configurator's data. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Oracle Configurator component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
