Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the saveAsCopy function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update settings and inject malicious web scripts via a forged request. This can be achieved by tricking a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to and including 1.7.29, update to a version that includes the fix for the missing or incorrect nonce validation on the saveAsCopy function. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the saveAsCopy function until a patch is available.
