CVE-2025-3077

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Betheme theme for WordPress versions up to, and including, 28.0.3
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's Button shortcode and Custom CSS field due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This allows authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 28.0.3, consider disabling the Button shortcode and Custom CSS field as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to these features to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the Custom CSS field and Button shortcode until the issue is resolved.
