7.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.8.5
Description The issue concerns a PHP Object Injection vulnerability via deserialization of untrusted input in the yikes woo products tabs post meta parameter. This allows authenticated attackers with Shop Manager-level access and above to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, but if a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.8.5, consider disabling the yikes woo products tabs post meta parameter until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce plugin to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the yikes woo products tabs parameter in the affected post meta until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
