CVE-2025-22064

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue concerns the Linux kernel's netfilter component, specifically the nf tables subsystem. When nf tables updchain encounters an error, it needs to roll back hook registration, but this should only be done if the hook has been registered. The problem arises when the table is flagged as dormant (inactive), in which case the hook registration does not occur. The solution involves moving the assignment into the registration block to prevent incorrect hook unregistration.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
