Description A issue in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to a missing shutdown check in the exfat file system. This issue caused problems when a device with dirty data was deleted, as files could still be read without returning an error. The problem was identified in the ->read iter function and also affected ->write iter, ->splice read, and ->mmap functions.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
