CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the PCI: brcmstb component. The issue occurs when the regulator bulk get() function returns an error and no regulators are created. If the PCIe link up fails, a call to regulator bulk free() will result in a kernel panic. The error value is printed, as it cannot be returned upwards due to the kernel's WARN() on an error from add bus().
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
