CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the vmxnet3 component. The issue arises because vmxnet3 does not unregister XDP RXQ info in the reset path, leading to a warning message and a backtrace. This problem is fixed by moving the unregister code of XDP from vmxnet3 rq destroy() to vmxnet3 rq cleanup().
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
