Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been identified, related to the btrfs file system. The issue arises from a race condition in block group creation, which can lead to a broken refcount and invalid new bgs state for transaction cleanup. This can result in a warning about a refcount underflow and use-after-free. The vulnerability is likely to occur after a relocation finishes, which cancels discard, tears down the block group, etc.
