CVE-2025-22125

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the md/raid1 and raid10 components. The issue arises when blk-wbt is enabled by default, causing poor raid write performance due to the ignoring of IO flags, such as REQ IDLE. Other flags, like REQ META and REQ NOWAIT, should not be ignored to prevent priority reverse problems and ensure that IO operations fail directly instead of waiting. The fix involves keeping IO flags from the master bio.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
