CVE-2024-11924

CVSS v3.1

3.5

Low

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Icegram Express formerly known as Email Subscribers WordPress plugin versions prior to 5.7.52
Description The issue concerns the Icegram Express WordPress plugin, which does not properly sanitise and escape some of its settings. This could allow high-privilege users, such as administrators, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks, even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in a multisite setup.
Recommendations For versions prior to 5.7.52, update to version 5.7.52 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's settings to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable settings in the affected plugin until the issue is resolved.
