CVE-2024-11829

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Plus Addons for Elementor – Elementor Addons, Page Templates, Widgets, Mega Menu, WooCommerce plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 6.1.8
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the searchable label parameter of the Table Widget. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 6.1.8, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Table Widget's searchable label parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
