Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the wp bibtex option page() function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts via a forged request. This can happen if attackers can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For WP-BibTeX plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.0.1, consider disabling the wp bibtex option page() function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
