Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically fixing NULL dereferences in the
ef100 process design param() function. The issue arose because ef100 probe main() and ef100 check design params() run before the network device is created, preventing certain network interface calls from being made at that point. The fix involves moving these calls to ef100 probe netdev() and replacing error messages in the design parameters code.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
