CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to a panic in the samsung clk init() function due to dereferencing ctx->clk data.hws before setting ctx->clk data.num = nr clks. This occurs when UBSAN ARRAY BOUNDS=y. The problem is fixed by moving the setting of ctx->clk data.num to before the dereferencing of ctx->clk data.hws. A call trace is provided, showing the sequence of function calls leading to the panic, including samsung clk init(), samsung cmu register one(), and exynos arm64 register cmu.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
