Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the staging: gpib component. The issue was caused by the pcmcia driver struct still using the old .name initialization in the drv field, leading to a NULL pointer deref Oops in strcmp called from pcmcia register driver. The fix involves initializing the pcmcia driver struct name field.
