CVE-2024-12067

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WP Travel – Ultimate Travel Booking System, Tour Management Engine plugin for WordPress versions prior to 10.0.1
Description The issue is related to SQL Injection via the booking itinerary parameter of the wptravel get booking data function. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. Authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above can append additional SQL queries into already existing queries to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to and including 10.0.0, update to a version later than 10.0.0 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the wptravel get booking data function until a patch is available. Avoid using the booking itinerary parameter in the affected function until the issue is resolved.
