Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the resync carousel(), seek snapshot(), uploaded cc(), and remove cc() functions. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 3.8.3, consider disabling the resync carousel(), seek snapshot(), uploaded cc(), and remove cc() functions until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
