Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
ResAds plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.0.6
Description
The ResAds plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via multiple parameters due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.0.6, consider updating to a version later than 2.0.6 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the plugin's parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Fix
