CVE-2024-12157

CVSS v3.1

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Popup – MailChimp, GetResponse and ActiveCampaign Integrations plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.2.6
Description The issue concerns a SQL injection vulnerability via the id parameter of the upc delete db record AJAX action. This vulnerability is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and a lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. It allows unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries to existing ones, potentially extracting sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 3.2.6, update to a version higher than 3.2.6 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the upc delete db record AJAX action until a patch is available. Avoid using the id parameter in the affected AJAX endpoint until the issue is resolved.

Fix
