None

No severity ratings or metrics are available. When they are, we'll update the corresponding info on the page.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to the JFS filesystem. Specifically, the system does not properly validate the inode mode when loading from disk, potentially allowing corrupted disk data to lead to an invalid inode mode. This issue is addressed by verifying the inode mode during the loading process, similar to a previous fix for the ISOFS filesystem.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
