Description

addrecord of the component New Record Handler. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to a stack-based buffer overflow. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.Recommendations

addrecord function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the New Record Handler component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
