CVE-2024-12332

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions School Management System – WPSchoolPress versions up to 2.2.14
Description The issue is related to SQL Injection via the cid parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Student/Parent-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to 2.2.14, update to a version higher than 2.2.14 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the cid parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
