CVE-2024-12383

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Binary MLM Woocommerce plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.0
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery. It is caused by missing or incorrect nonce validation on the bmw display pv set page function and insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the product points parameter. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.0, consider disabling the bmw display pv set page function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the product points parameter to minimize the risk of arbitrary web script injection. Ensure proper input sanitization and output escaping are implemented for the product points parameter to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks.
