CVE-2025-2168

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Ultimate Store Kit Elementor Addons, Woocommerce Builder, EDD Builder, Elementor Store Builder, Product Grid, Product Table, Woocommerce Slider plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.4.1
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the dismiss() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to set arbitrary user meta values to 1, potentially locking an administrator out of their site if they can trick the administrator into performing a certain action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 2.4.1, update to a version that includes proper nonce validation for the dismiss() function to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the dismiss() function until a patch is available.
