Description The issue is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do shortcode. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.9.0, update to a version later than 4.9.0 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the do shortcode function until a patch is available.
