Description A potential NULL pointer dereference issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. The issue occurred because the off gpios could be NULL, and a missing check was added in the kb3930 probe() function. This problem is similar to one previously fixed in the backlight: hx8357 module. The issue was detected by a static analysis tool.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
