CVE-2025-37757

CVSS v2.0
4.6
VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the tipc link xmit function. When the backlog transmit queue for system-importance messages is overloaded, tipc link xmit returns -ENOBUFS, but the skb list is not purged, leading to a memory leak and failure when a skb is allocated. The issue is resolved by purging the skb list before tipc link xmit returns.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
